Lead Primary Guide

  • We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Primary Guide, Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners, ages 3-6, in an early childhood education setting. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Your expertise will support children's developmental milestones across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains, laying a strong foundation for their future educational journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their growth through innovative teaching strategies and personalized care.

  • Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, social education, using Montessori methods.

    • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.

    • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and maintain a safe, peaceful learning space.

    • Engage in ongoing lesson planning that incorporates Montessori principles and individualized learning approaches.

    • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress in areas such as childhood development, behavior management, and early intervention strategies.

    • Incorporate diverse teaching methods suited for working with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support.

    • Manage daily routines for preschoolers, ensuring their physical needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

    • Conduct assessments to track developmental milestones and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

    • Foster open communication with students and families to promote a supportive educational community focused on child welfare and holistic growth.

  • Experience

    • Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool programs.

    • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across subjects like literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques.

    • State certified and/or Montessori Primary Guide certified preferred

    • Knowledge of classroom management strategies that support positive behavior management and create an inclusive environment.

    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.

    • Previous school or Montessori experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for fostering childhood development is essential.
